Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at donwilder.com and the personal applications and tools operated under it (collectively, the "Service"), including any application that connects to the Oura Ring API to help you track your own sleep and health data. The Service is operated by Don Wilder ("I," "me," or "the operator").

By accessing or using the Service, or by authorizing it to connect to a third-party account on your behalf, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

The Service is a small, independently operated personal project that retrieves, displays, and helps analyze health and wellness data — for example, sleep, readiness, and activity data made available through the Oura Ring API after you authorize access. The Service is provided for personal, informational use only.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old, and able to form a binding agreement, to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Connecting third-party accounts

The Service lets you connect third-party accounts, such as Oura, through their official authorization (OAuth) flows. When you connect an account:

  • You authorize the Service to access the data covered by the scopes you approve.
  • You confirm you have the right to connect that account and share that data.
  • Your use of the third-party service remains governed by that provider's own terms and privacy policy, including the Oura Terms & Conditions.
  • You may revoke access at any time through the third-party provider's settings.

The operator is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Ōura Health Oy. "Oura" and "Ōura Ring" are trademarks of their respective owner.

4. Not medical advice

The Service presents health and wellness information for general, informational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, diagnostic, or treatment advice. Nothing in the Service is a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider with any questions about your health, and never disregard or delay seeking professional advice because of something the Service displayed.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its data, or its underlying systems;
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the Service or its providers;
  • Access or attempt to access data belonging to anyone other than yourself;
  • Reverse engineer, resell, or commercially exploit the Service without permission.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its design, text, and code (excluding your data and third-party content), is owned by the operator and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You retain all rights to your own data.

7. Availability and changes

The Service is provided as a personal project and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued at any time without notice. No guarantee is made that the Service will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. You use the Service at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) the Service. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and revoke any connected-account access at any time. The operator may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time, including for violation of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as disclaimers and limitations of liability) will survive.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be subject to the courts located in Thailand, unless otherwise required by applicable mandatory law in your place of residence.

12. Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
